Latest company news about Possible hazards in spray workshops and how to prevent them

The possible hazards of the spraying workshop and how to prevent the hazards of the personnel used in the painting equipment know that the main harmful substances in the painting workshop are divided into three categories, including waste gas, waste water and waste residue. Among them, the exhaust gas is a major threat to the staff and production safety of the painting workshop. Because it will form paint mist, organic solvent vapor and dust during the spraying process, long-term exposure and inhalation of operators can cause chronic poisoning and harm health. If they are discharged outdoors, it will lead to atmospheric pollution, and some solvents with photochemical reactivity can form more toxic substances after being irradiated by ultraviolet rays in the sun, causing public hazards. In addition to the three wastes mentioned above, the main hazard factors in the painting workshop are the coatings used in the spraying process. The toxicity of coatings is mainly caused by the toxic substances contained in solvents, pigments and some of its materials. Organic solvents are generally lipopolystic (have a good dissolution effect on oils and fats). Therefore, when the solvent enters the human body, it can quickly interact with fatty substances, especially to produce paralytic effects on nerve tissue, production and movement and language disorders. If the staff to prevent hazards: 1. Before using any paint and tools should carefully read the relevant technology, and follow the relevant safe operation instructions. 2. When rust removal, grinding, spraying and other work, you must wear protective glasses and filter masks to prevent sand, paint fog and other damage to the eyes and respiratory system. Wear acid-resistant gloves and goggles when using pickling or lye to remove rust. The use of double-split coatings, especially those containing isocyanates, must be carried out in a sealed spray room with a good ventilation system, and the operator must wear an activated carbon filter breathing mask or air supply mask. 3. Good circulation should be ensured during indoor construction. When painting in the painting booth, the exhaust system must be activated, and continue to operate for about 10min after the spraying work is completed to remove the spray and avoid the accumulation of solvent gas. 4. Protective clothing must be worn when using and handling paint. When using toxic and harmful coatings and accessories, care must be taken not to contact the eyes, mouth and other exposed parts of the body. In case of contact, wash immediately with plenty of water and consult a doctor for treatment. 5. Clean up the paint and other flammable materials splashed on the ground at any time. After the construction is completed, the paint bucket should be closed, and the tools and paint should be cleaned; Protective equipment should be specially kept. 6. It is forbidden to smoke, eat or drink in the painting workshop. Wash hands and face thoroughly before eating and drinking after work.
